Your role and responsibilities

Business Unit Metallurgy sells, produces, and delivers electromagnetic stirrer projects to the steel and aluminum industries around the globe. Our products help the steel and aluminum industry to reduce emissions, increase productivity, and deliver higher quality.

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for innovation and technology? Join our dynamic team at BU Metallurgy as the Product Development Manager and drive the future of our product offerings. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and leadership experience to lead our R&D function.

• Oversee and manage the R&D activities at BU Metallurgy, ensuring alignment with business strategies and goals.
• Enhance our long and mid-term offer competitiveness by converting technical advances and new market requirements into competitive offerings.
• Drive product management initiatives to increase efficiency in development processes and decrease time to market.
• Ensure transparency and effective reporting to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications for the role

• Proven experience in leading and managing change within an organization.
• Strong background in product development, particularly within the process industry.
• Over 5 years of leadership experience in R&D, with a focus on hardware and larger systems.
• Experience from OEM to process industry or other relevant industries is an advantage.
